Hijackthis logfile help.
Hello, since like a few days ago my firefox has begun to crash randomly on start-up or while browsing, same goes for the IE the crashes are following me everywhere. I've tried uninstalling/removing all the data in the firefox folder but that did not help, also I've used kaspersky 2011 to scan, but it did no help, as well as ESET32 (I didnt have em installed at the same time).
I've also experienced problems with explorer.exe, sometimes all of my folders and taskbar crash (disappear and then reappear after some time). I suspect the malware and I am hoping for your help before moving onto desperate measures (formatting). I would also install XP SP3... instead of formatting, make http://www.avg.com/us-en/avg-rescue-cd / http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/rescuedisk or something and scan outside of windows. Reformat if you value your time. Might not even be malware but just windows giving up on you. If it is malware then you can be sure you get all of it and removing it takes more time then a reinstall. You can try this Microsoft system sweeper. it's a stand alone virus scanner.

I'd like to thank everybody for replies and contribution, I've done alot of research and consulted malware removal specialist for as long as I had my patience of following his instructions.
Somewhy I don't feel much difference between sp2 I had and sp3 I have now. Nevertheless it feels so good after reinstalling windows, computer runs so smooth and it gives an beautiful feeling of a fresh new start. |

Be sure you are fully updated this time so you reduce your risk of infection. Having SP3 and other important updates help to keep you protected.
